After the instances the day before, I was fully fine with being left alone the rest of the day. Jason and I just stayed as close to home as possible and hardly went anywhere. I got all my favorite foods and it was totally worth the headaches involved. That was until we decided to go to our studios. We're packing up for moving to the new place. I promised people I wouldn't use my birthday to pack, so I sat in my comfortable chair and watched whatever I wanted on youtube while Jason did his packing.
Whatever had been plaguing me followed me there. My door would rattle. Papers weighed down would flap and flutter. There was no breeze as the air conditioner was politely turned off by the new owners. I sat there with my headphones on just ignoring it all until my door flew open. It was an old office door made out of hardwood. The force needed to open a locked door without breaking anything is otherworldly. I'm sure I died for a few minutes and came back into my body. Jason came charging around the corner to see what the crash was. When I explained to him what was going on, the windows and the doors started to rattle throughout the place. The lights would dim and buzz loudly like they were about to burn out. I slowly got to my feet and just stared at Jason. I heard a rustle of cloth, the same sound I hear when the Arts on Main spirit pays a visit. Everything went quiet. I could hear my heart beating in my ears as I went to join Jason in the common area. There was a heavy pressure and then a feeling of lightheadedness. The lights grew blinding before finally settling back to normal. The lady in the dress stood inside the vault. I exhaled as my soul seemed to come back into my body. I was hanging onto Jason and he was hanging onto me. The ghost of the building did not like having her territory invaded. Since that day, I haven't had any issues from whatever was following me. Hopefully she killed it.
