Every state, city, county, or town has a story about a place you never go. Normal people want to be left alone when trouble strikes. They just want to wait it out and let it run its course without something else happening. This one isn't my story, but it was told to me to share with anyone who would like to read.

Another strangely foggy day in my little town in North Carolina. For whatever reason, an idea possesses the people here that it is a wonderful idea to go out driving in such dense fog. Given that 90% of the population can't drive during bright days of sunshine, most of them drive with their headlights off even in the worst of weather.
The mountains of North Carolina hold a lot of secrets to this day. People go missing all the time. Bigfoot roams there and even closer to home the Brown Mountain Lights shine brightly on occasion. I am sure that long after I am gone, they will still hold their secrets.
