Something New In the Neighborhood

Over the past years of living here, we’ve seen our fair share of vagrants and oddities that have no name. Given the slime monster has even packed up and left a long time ago proves to us that living in this area is something even a cesspool doesn’t want to do. Well, now there is something new.

The other day Jason was coming home from work and when he does, he calls me. We were on the phone when he told me about this giant red splotch in the middle of the road. Since we were going to head back down that way in a little while, he waited to investigate with me there.

I see it immediately a distance away. It looked like something got hit. On the side of the road was a deer carcass. The deer looked like it had been slaughtered and ravaged by a huge animal. There were organs spread out from its rib cage and I saw a liver further up the sidewalk. The scavenger birds who reside in that area looked like they had vacated.

There deer looked like it got attacked on the street and then something dragged it to the curb that wasn’t human.
